Beasley, Francis (son of Robert and wife Sarah) and Hannah Sutton (daughter of Robert & wife Deliverance) were married May 15, 1701. (Vol 3, p 409).
Beasley, Francis was among “twelve true & lawfull men” to verify that the body of John Deall was privately buried and didn’t cause of death. “Say that the body of the sd John Deall was much decayed & putrifyed soe that due Search could not be made to find wounds or outward Marks of his Death but find to the best of our Knowlidge the Physick that was administered to him was the Cause of shortening his days.” June 2, 1707. Francis Beaseley 2: himself and John Shaw; Larans Mayew 1 (This was the list of tithables taken for a part of Perquimans precinct, the last twenty on the list in all probability lived in that part of Tyrrell which was, at the time the list was taken, a part of Perquimans. Pasquotank also, in 1702, included the extreme eastern portion of Tyrrell. Chowan had jurisdiction over the western portion, and when Tyrrell precinct was formed in 1722 whi the act creating it states that it was a part of Chowan only, it is very probable that Perquimans and Paquotank contributed their quotas to its formation.
